As part of a relationship between Griffith University's Queensland College of Art and Wesley Mission Brisbane, I undertook a project on the workers of Mailpaq, a workplace for people with disabilities.
I left the project with a series of portraits of each worker in their tea room. The series gives each person a voice and authorship of their own representation, and ultimately works as a celebration of their individuality.
The work was exhibited in 'Inspire', October 2008, Deloitte, Riverside Centre, Brisbane.
As well as in 'Beneath the Surface' November 2008, A Photojournalism Photo-Projection Exhibition, Queensland College of Art.
